I’m celebrating today! Last night the 100th wonderful person made the decision to follow this blog. I could write a lot here about what reaching this milestone means for me and my blog, but there’s really only one thing I want to say: THANK YOU. I promise not to let you down.

My little neighbor was excited today, and I caught her spinning just for fun in the hallway. I love the purity of how children respond to things; they may be happy or grumpy, excited or bored, friendly or mean, but whatever they are feeling they tend to go all in. So here she is, too excited to sit still or even walk down the hall without dancing.

This week I submitted my fifth entry in Janet Reid’s flash fiction contest. This time things didn’t go so well. Still, I’m learning all the time, and have no regrets.

This is what I did today. I donate blood six or seven times each year. Nobody else in my family does, but it’s important to me, and the reason is all about love.
I entered this week’s flash fiction contest at Janet Reid’s blog. It was my fourth entry, and I’m quite pleased with the result.
