Today’s haiku puzzle is a little astronomical, but I think you’ll get it. Can you figure out the word that begins with N that this poem refers to? Comment it!

I hope it’s noon or I’m going to look like an idiot.

Actually, here it’s just 11:30 — Oh, I get it! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.) Yes, you’re right! Well done.

Getting a late start reading the blogs today. Is it noon? Oh my, and now I see it is past noon here in my neck of the woods. How did that happen. No wonder, my dog is whining at me.

Hey, it’s Saturday – sleep in! I did. Then, I don’t have a dog.

It’s noon. And yet, it’s midnight.
Which makes it sound like I’m 12 hours behind. When actually I’m more like 36 hours behind.
These are hard enough to get right after reading the haiku, but I’m going to guess Monday’s now… octopus! No, wait. I mean orangutan. Okay, orange.

So you’re 36 hours behind and 6 hours ahead. Amazing!
