Z Haiku #atozchallenge

Princess of Hyrule,
With the Triforce of Wisdom—
Sometimes cross-dresses

We’ve come to the end of the A to Z Blogging Challenge for 2017!  I thank everyone who stopped by during April, and especially those who stuck with me through the month. It’s been a blast! We’re finishing with one last haiku puzzle. Can you figure out the name, from science fiction or fantasy, that starts with Z and is suggested by the haiku? This one’s not from a movie or TV show, but from a video game. Though she’s sometimes a damsel in distress, there to be rescued by the game’s main character, in other parts of the series she’s a force to be reckoned with on her own. If you know who it is, let us know in the comments.

Y Haiku #atozchallenge

Talks backwards, he does,
And teaches, “There is no try—
You do, or do not.”

Here’s the haiku puzzle for the day in the A to Z Blogging Challenge. What character from science fiction or fantasy has a name starting with Y and is suggested by the haiku? I think this one should be relatively easy for most people, even those who are not major fans. He’s small and looks like a Muppet, but you do NOT want to get on his dark side! Know who I’m talking about? Tell us in the comments.

We know that this is coming,
Thanks to House of Stark

Another haiku puzzle for the A to Z Blogging Challenge! Try to figure out the word that starts with W and relates to science fiction or fantasy, and which is suggested by the haiku. This one’s a little different since it’s not the name of a character, a vehicle, or a place. It’s more of a climate thing. Know what I mean? Let us know in the comments.

V Haiku #atozchallenge

Ruling the Death Star
In a black cape and helmet –
“I am your father”

For today’s A to Z Blogging Challenge, try to identify the science fiction/fantasy word, starting with V, that’s suggested by the haiku. It’s another character name, and it’s one of the most familiar names in the science fantasy realm. Bad guy with a black cape, helmet, loud breathing sounds – I’m sure you know who this is! Tell us in the comments.

U Haiku #atozchallenge

On the bridge she says,
“Hailing frequencies open,”
In her short red skirt

Today’s haiku puzzle for the A to Z Blogging Challenge is another character name, in a familiar science fiction/fantasy universe. She was a groundbreaking character in many ways: the first black woman on prime time TV who had an important, responsible, professional job, with the respect of all her coworkers. She fought not only aliens, but racism and sexism. In spite of the short skirt.

Time is relative;
So are dimensions in space.
It’s bigger inside!

We now begin the final push in the A to Z blogging challenge. One more week! Today’s puzzle should be an easy one for anyone who is connected to the science fiction/fantasy world. This one’s not about a character or a place but a vehicle. It’s not a word, actually, but an acronym. Know what I’m talking about? Tell us in the comments!
