At the college where I teach, spring semester classes start on Monday. We’re all working busily to get our classes ready to go. There was quite a line of faculty members in the copy center this afternoon! But in the classrooms there is quiet. It’s the silence of waiting, of gathering strength before launching ourselves into the future.
I love the quiet of the empty classroom, but I love the noise of thinking, of planning, of learning even more. Soon!

And the storm is fully under way now that the first week is over. Nothing quiet now! 😉

I take my hat off to you & all educators! I’m not sure how you can cope with the madness of term time (my husband is a teacher too, so I know how crazy it can get, albeit just 2nd hand).

It can get pretty crazy! But every job has its particular challenges, and this one has some wonderful rewards.

I hear you! I think that’s why all my educator friends are still going what they do, despite all the craziness that comes along with it!
