~ once every four years ~
~ the whole world gathers to watch ~
~ our athletes excel ~
It’s today’s haiku puzzle in the A to Z Blogging Challenge! Today’s letter is O, so your job is to guess the word that starts with O that is suggested by this poem. When you figure it out, let us all know in the comments, and thanks for playing!
Olympics! Altho technically it’s once every two years, because of alternating summer and winter games. Altho maybe this means I didn’t guess your O word right?

Very good point! I was thinking that each one of the Olympics (summer and winter) happens once every 4 years, so each Olympic event happens once every 4 years. But you’s exactly right that the Olympics, as a whole, happens every 2. I’ve always been better with words than numbers!.

Yay, I got it!! π Great haiku-ing, Celia. And that’s a verb now, if it wasn’t before. And you are a haiku-er. π

I haiku. I like it! No surprise, though. My dad used to say, βAny noun can be verbed.β
