It’s the haiku puzzle of the day in the A to Z Blog Challenge! Since the letter for the day is S, that means that today’s haiku suggests a word starting with S, and the puzzle is for you to figure out that word. Can you identify an S-word relating to the haiku? Tell us in the comments?
This ends the third week of the challenge. We get Sundays off, so check back on Monday for the haiku puzzle for the letter T. See you then!

Right – and you’re right about the Ss in the poem as well. I would love to claim that the alliteration was down to my word skills, but I can’t. Simply serendipity. Sorry!
