R Haiku #atozchallenge

To Mount Doom it goes,
Cast down into the fire
To save Middle Earth

We’re back into classic fantasy for today’s entry in the A to Z Blogging Challenge, another puzzle haiku for the letter R. What fantasy word is suggested by the haiku that starts with R? Once you get it, tell us in the comments.

P Haiku #atozchallenge

Nasty hobbitses!
What is in its pocketses?
No! That’s mine! It’s MY –

Here’s today’s haiku puzzle for the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Can you figure out the word suggested by the haiku, one that starts with P and is related to science fiction or fantasy? I bet you can! Tell us in the comments.

G Haiku #atozchallenge

Middle Earth wizard
once the Grey, but now the White
known for fireworks

Today marks the start of the second week of the A to Z Blogging Challenge for 2017, and we have come to the letter G. What name from science fiction/fantasy starts with a G and is implied by today’s haiku? Let us know your answer in the comments. Tomorrow there’s no A to Z post (we get Sundays off), but I’ll be back on Monday with a haiku for H. Have a great weekend!

E Haiku #atozchallenge

Some guard Rivendell
some bake cookies inside trees
others help Santa

Today we feature the letter E in the  A to Z Blogging Challenge, and another haiku puzzle. What is the science fiction/fantasy word implied by today’s haiku that starts with E? I’ve always found it odd that we use the same word to refer to such very different creatures: the tall and mysterious lords of Rivendell and Lothlorien, the chubby cartoon characters cranking out cookies in commercials, and the people in red-and-green felt wrangling lines of kids in December malls. Know the word I’m thinking of? Tell us in the comments!
