Up in the night sky
Silver symbol of romance
Earth’s nearest neighbor
Welcome back for the third week of the A to Z Blog Challenge, and another haiku puzzle! The letter for the day is M, so the little haiku should suggest a word that starts with M. Can you figure out what it is? Let us know in the comments, and thanks for visiting!

Sweet silvery moon… I love having a moon to see and hope we never lose it! http://www.lisabuiecollard.com

It would take a pretty big disaster to lose the moon! And it would certainly leave a sad empty spot in the sky. I appreciate your visit.

Hmm… I’d think it must be Mars, but Venus’s orbit is actually closer. This is a tricky one! 😉

Yes, Venus is the closest PLANET, for sure. What’s up in the sky that’s even closer? Hmmm, what could it be…? 🤔
Thanks for stopping by!
